If your dog is wearing a SERESTO™ collar, there is no need to remove the Seresto™ collar, however remove any other collar before applying Advocate™, and replace when the product is dry. If you wash your dog, an ideal routine is to bath your dog before applying Advocate™, then allow your dog's coat to completely dry before applying. If you wash your dog between treatments, always use a soap-free shampoo.

Advocate is given topically once a month, please weigh your dog and follow the packaging instructions for the right dosage. For best performance treat your dog on or around the same day each month.
Safe for use in puppies from 7 weeks of age. The safety of Advocate has not been established in pregnant and lactating females. Waterproof after 2 hours.
Advocate does not protect against paralysis ticks, which are a risk in many parts of Australia (particularly the Eastern Coastline). To protect against ticks, we recommend pairing with a Seresto collar, or swapping to a tick preventative product. It also does not protect against the hydatid tapeworm, which can be transmitted from eating the organs of dead animals.
