Take accurate measurements by having your pup stand straight and hold their head up. Improper measurements could result from sitting, laying down, or being held.

Measure your dog's neck (just above the shoulders), girth (around the widest part of the chest), and length (nape of the neck to base of tail).

Locate the nape of the neck by running your fingers down the back of your pet's neck until you feel the start of the shoulder blades.
